UK trained Consultant Psychologist
Dr Grace McClurg is a UK trained Psychologist. She has an Undergraduate degree, two Masters’ degrees and a Doctorate, all in Psychology. She is fully chartered with the British Psychological Society and has been in clinical practice since 1989.
Extensive experience in many aspects of psychology
Dr McClurg worked in the health service, forensic services and social services. She was employed for many years by the London Courts to provide psychological assessments and act as an expert witness.
She is experienced in individual work, couples work and group work. Dr McClurg also had a private clinic in Central London, where her referrals came from a number of ‘state of the art’ agencies, including the Priory Hospital. Between 2005 and 2015 Dr McClurg ran a private practice in Singapore, catering for ex-pats and the local community.
Academic contribution
Dr McClurg has had publications in a number of professional journals on the subject of psychological assessment and treatment. As a highly trained and experienced psychologist, she has been responsible for the clinical supervision of other psychologists in the UK and in Singapore. She was jointly responsible for setting up a Counselling Psychology MSc program in the UK and she has been an adjunct assistant professor at the National University of Singapore.
